There's not much more satisfying to me than photographing strong beautiful creative women in the spaces where they create. See here, here and here. That's why when I found out Amber (AKA Bambi Feel Good) writes and often records at her grandma's house in Long Beach I scrambled to set a shoot date with her. Grandma's house? Vintage wallpaper? A couch with a plastic slip cover? Yes, yes, a million times yes.
Big thanks to the sweet peeps at Babiekins Magazine for featuring my images on their blog! I had a blast shooting this super rock and roll bday party in Venice!
Can't think of much more worthy of a photograph than a sunset in Joshua Tree. Jonathan and I spent the weekend vintage shopping, judging the bizarre desert people/wanting to be them, arguing about which constelation is Orion's Belt in a hot tub and photographing our doggies on hikes.
Tip for Joshua Tree goers - if you're going to the desert (on a horse with no name) it's worth investing in a polaroid camera. With not a TON to do out there in the middle of nowhere, the instant gratification of polaroids is a must (for me anyway).
Polaroid post to follow!
